Pen To Paper

During the summer I did a placement at Pinewood Studios in the costume department for a new film. The jewellery I saw during my time there helped inspire one of my summer project which involved illustration of accessories. I took the 1830's-1860's references they were using and decided to draw some of the pieces including earrings and things like broaches. I also used my fingers to paint into them with water colour then scanned them onto my computer to manipulate them on photoshop. Here are a select few from my sketch book that were my favourites.
